Question Bank

View, filter, and manage the question bank for your assigned exams. Teachers can review questions, edit difficulty levels and topic mappings, and review AI-extracted or flagged questions.

Overview

Navigate to Assessment Center → Question Bank from the sidebar. The question bank displays all questions in a filterable table.

Each row shows:

Filtering Questions

Use the filter bar at the top to narrow questions by:

How Questions Enter the Bank

Questions can enter the question bank through several paths:

AI extraction from contentUpload a PDF via Batch Content, then click Extract Qs — AI reads the PDF and generates questions automatically (see Content Management)
AI Generate via quizUse the AI Generate button on the Quizzes page to generate questions with AI — the generated questions are added to the question bank (see Quiz Management)
JSON uploadOrg admin uploads questions in JSON format via the Upload JSON tab
Shared LibrarySystem admin imports questions from the public Shared Library

Reviewing Flagged Questions

Click the Flagged tab to see questions that have been flagged for review. Flagged questions can have statuses:

OpenNeeds review — newly flagged
ResolvedReviewed and fixed
DismissedReviewed and determined to be correct

Teachers should review flagged questions to ensure accuracy before they appear in quizzes.


Reviewing AI-Extracted Questions

When PDFs are uploaded via Content Management and questions are extracted using AI:

  1. The extracted questions appear in the Question Bank with an AI-extracted source tag
  2. Review the question text, options, and correct answer for accuracy
  3. Adjust difficulty level and topic mapping if needed
  4. Toggle the Published status to make them available for quizzes

Inline Editing

Click directly on table cells to edit:

  • Difficulty — Toggle between Easy, Medium, Hard
  • Published — Toggle publish status
  • Topic mapping — Reassign to a different chapter/topic

Changes save automatically.


Pagination

The question bank supports pagination for large sets. Use the page controls at the bottom to navigate through questions.

Review Before Quizzes

Always review AI-extracted and AI-generated questions before they are used in quizzes. Check that the correct answer is accurate and the difficulty level is appropriate for your students.
