Quiz Management
Create, manage, and track quizzes for your assigned batches. The quiz wizard supports multiple quiz types — from low-stakes practice to full-length mock exams. You can also use AI Generate to create quizzes with AI-generated questions.

Quiz List
Navigate to Assessment Center → Quizzes in the sidebar. The quiz list shows all quizzes with tabs for filtering:

Each row shows the quiz title, type, subject, question count, duration, difficulty, status, creator, and action buttons (Start, View, Delete).
Use the filter bar to narrow by exam, status, type, or program.
Creating a Quiz
Click + Create Quiz to open the three-step wizard.
Step 1: Choose Type
Select an exam, optionally assign to a program, then pick the quiz type:

Graded Assessment
| Type | Purpose |

| Institute | Multi-subject exam — simulates the full test format with section-based timing |
| Competition | Timed mock with ranking — students see how they compare against peers |
| PYP | Previous Year Papers — practice with real past exam questions |
| Live Test | Scheduled exam with a fixed time window and All-India Rank |
Homework & Practice
| Type | Purpose |

| Practice | Untimed, self-study — students can attempt multiple times |
| Adaptive | AI adjusts difficulty based on student responses in real-time |
| Custom | Pick specific chapters and topics for targeted practice |
| Revision | AI selects topics based on the student's recent weak areas |
| Weakness Quiz | Fully AI-driven — zero configuration, targets error history |
Step 2: Configure

Configure quiz settings including:

| Rules & Anti-Cheating | Negative marking, shuffle questions/options, proctoring |
| Attempts per Student | Limit or unlimited attempts |
Step 3: Review & Create
Review all settings and click Create Quiz. The quiz appears in your quiz list as "Published" and is immediately available to students.
AI Generate
Click the AI Generate button on the quiz list page to create a quiz with AI-generated questions:

The AI Quiz Generator panel lets you:
- Describe the quiz — e.g., "Generate a 20-question quiz on Thermodynamics covering Laws of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, mix of easy/medium/hard"
- Select Exam and Subject — choose the target exam and subject
- Set question count — number of questions to generate
- Set duration — time limit in minutes
- Difficulty mix — e.g., "5 easy, 10 medium, 5 hard"
- Negative marking — optionally enable -0.25 per wrong answer
Click Generate Quiz with AI and the system creates the quiz with AI-generated questions. The generated questions become part of the Question Bank and can be reviewed and edited.
Tracking Quiz Performance
From the quiz list:
- Click Start to take/preview the quiz yourself
- Click View to see attempt details, completion rates, and per-question analytics
- Click Delete to remove a quiz
On the Teacher Dashboard, click any quiz row to see the inline Score Distribution, Hardest Questions, and Unattempted Students panels.
Quiz Lifecycle
| Status | Meaning |

| Draft | Quiz created but not visible to students |
| Published | Active and available for students to take |
Use Practice quizzes for daily homework, Institute quizzes for weekly mock tests, and Revision quizzes before exams. Mixing types keeps students engaged and covers different learning objectives.
