Overview
Navigate to Active Learning Notes under the AI Learning Hub in the sidebar. The page lists all your AI-generated notes organized by topic.

The top banner shows three summary metrics:
| Metric | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Total Notes | Number of topics with generated notes |
| Total Mistakes Analyzed | Total wrong answers the AI has analyzed across all topics |
| Subjects Covered | Number of distinct subjects |
Each note card shows:
- Topic name (e.g., Surds, Law of Indices, Quadrilaterals)
- Chapter and subject tag (e.g., Algebra and Equations · MATH)
- Mistake count — how many mistakes the AI has analyzed for this topic
- Version number — increments each time the note is updated with new quiz data

Each note contains six targeted sections designed to help you fix specific knowledge gaps:
Concept Snapshot
A concise summary of the core concept with key formulas, rules, and definitions for quick revision.

Trigger Patterns & Error Journal
Trigger Patterns highlight the common mistakes you make and specific patterns to watch for — e.g., "Rationalizing expressions like..." or "Comparing roots with different indices...".
The Error Journal shows your actual wrong answers on this topic — what you selected, what was correct, and why you likely made the error.

Correct Approach, Linked Questions & Memory Hooks
- Correct Approach — Step-by-step problem-solving strategies for this topic
- Linked Questions — Related questions from your quiz history showing correct/wrong status
- Memory Hooks — Mnemonics, analogies, and visual aids specifically chosen to help you retain this concept

How Notes Are Created
- Auto-generated — Notes are created automatically after you take quizzes
- Personalized — Built from your specific mistakes, not generic content
- Cumulative — Each new quiz updates the note with fresh insights from your latest errors (version number increments)
- Actionable — Every section is designed to help you fix specific gaps, not just review theory
Tips
- Review before revision quizzes — Read the note for a topic before attempting a revision quiz on the same topic
- Focus on Trigger Patterns — These highlight the exact mistakes you keep making, so you can break the pattern
- Use Memory Hooks — For topics you find hard to retain, the AI-generated mnemonics and analogies are specifically chosen for your weak areas
- Notes get richer over time — The more quizzes you take on a topic, the more detailed and accurate the note becomes
