Quizzes (B2B)

Your coaching institute assigns quizzes through AceRanker — and you can also create your own practice quizzes. Every quiz feeds the AI engine that powers your study plan, mastery progression, and personalised recommendations.

Assigned vs Self-Created

In a B2B setup, quizzes come from two sources:

SourceQuiz TypesHow it works
Assigned by teacherInstitute, Live Test, PYP, CompetitionYour teacher creates and publishes — you see them in your quiz list with deadlines
Self-createdPractice, Adaptive, Custom, Revision, WeaknessYou create these yourself from the + Create Quiz button

Assigned quizzes appear at the top of your quiz list. Check for deadlines — Live Tests have fixed start/end windows.

note

The quiz types available to you depend on what your org admin has enabled. If you don't see a quiz type listed below, ask your institute administrator.

Practice & Learn

These quizzes help you drill what you're studying right now — untimed, no pressure, with fresh questions each attempt.

Practice Quiz

The simplest way to start — pick a subject, set the question count, and go. Each attempt draws fresh questions so you never see the same set twice.

Creating a Practice Quiz

Navigate to Quizzes from the sidebar, click + Create Quiz, select an exam, and choose Practice.

When to use Practice

After studying a chapter, immediately create a Practice quiz to test recall. Keep it untimed so you can think through each problem without pressure.

Adaptive Quiz

AI measures your ability and adapts question difficulty in real-time. Answer correctly and questions get harder; struggle and it backs off.

Select Adaptive from the Practice & Learn category — notice "AI-powered" and "Timed" tags.

screenshot - Practice & Learn Category

Configure: Enter a title, select a subject, and set question count. Note: There is no difficulty dropdown — the AI manages difficulty automatically.

When to use Adaptive

Before a big exam to calibrate readiness. The AI-assigned difficulty level after 15–20 questions gives you a reliable measure of your current ability.

Custom Test

Full control — pick specific subjects, chapters, topics, difficulty, and question types.

Select Custom Test, configure your parameters, then use the Syllabus Scope to pick specific chapters.

screenshot - Configure with Chapters

When to use Custom Test

When you want to drill specific chapters instead of the full subject. Great for targeted revision before exams.

Institute Quiz

Multi-subject exam simulation created by your teacher. Mirrors the real exam pattern with section-wise timing, negative marking, and the same question distribution.

screenshot - Institute Card

In B2B, Institute quizzes are typically assigned by your teacher — they appear in your quiz list automatically.

When to use Institute

For full mock tests in the actual exam pattern. Your teacher will usually assign these on a schedule — take them seriously as they closely mirror exam conditions.

Improve Weak Areas

AI-driven quizzes that identify and fix your knowledge gaps.

Revision Quiz

The AI analyses your recent quiz performance and adjusts difficulty based on topics you've struggled with.

The Improve Weak Areas category shows Revision and Weakness Quiz cards. Select Revision.

Configure: Enter a title, use the subject tabs to select chapters, and set question count. Difficulty is auto-managed based on recent performance.

screenshot - Configure Revision

When to use Revision

Weekly review after each chapter. The AI surfaces questions from topics where your recent accuracy was low.

Weakness Quiz

Zero-config — the AI auto-selects your weakest topics from your entire error history. Just set the question count and go.

When to use Weakness Quiz

When you don't know what to study next. Let the AI surprise you with your actual weak areas.

Test Myself

Mock exams and past papers under real conditions.

PYP (Previous Year Papers)

Practice with actual questions from previous years' exams.

The Test Myself category shows PYP and Competition cards. Select PYP and choose a year/paper from the Previous Year Paper Settings card.

When to use PYP

Competition (Mock with Ranking)

Timed mock where you're ranked against other students with an All-India Rank.

In B2B, your teacher may schedule Competition quizzes for the entire batch.

When to use Competition

To benchmark yourself against other students. Great for building exam-day pressure tolerance.

Live Test

Scheduled exam with a fixed start and end time — typically assigned by your teacher. Has All-India Rank and batch-level ranking.
